It’s never too late to start over or to pivot. Life is all about change, and while it may be uncomfortable, it’s essential for growth. This applies to goals, dreams, and even bad habits. You’re allowed to change your mind, and you’re allowed to say, “Enough is enough." Life is all about choices. You are in control of your life, and you hold the power over where you are and where you want to be. Your wins are on the other side of fear and excuses. You can have all the encouragement and support in the world, but it’s ultimately up to you to make it happen.

The Oh Hey Fatima Show S1 EP4 is a reflection of what can happen when you mismanage your money. Fatima is scraping for change because her bank account has gone into overdraft. As I mentioned in the blog post for Creating The Oh Hey Fatima Show S1 EP2, one of the biggest lessons I’ve had to learn is to live within my means. This is also a lesson Fatima has to learn if she really wants to have her own apartment. It’s one thing to get it, but another to keep it.

The Oh Hey Fatima Show is loosely based on my own experiences and has given me the chance to share my story in a fun, creative way. Growing up, I always wanted to be on TV. I wanted to be on Zoom on PBS, I wanted to be on Disney Channel, and I wanted to be on Nickelodeon.
